Tobias Reisch

Former Researcher

Tobias Reisch was a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub from March 2019 until the end of September 2024.

Tobias received both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in physics from TU Wien. In his master’s thesis and during several internships, he focused on theoretical and numerical solid-state physics, working on 2D materials, non-Hermitian phenomena, and the analysis of atomic force microscopy data.

A major focus of his dissertation was the structure, formation, and propagation of shocks in supply networks. He also worked on projects related to social and bibliometric networks, mobility, and economic complexity.

Tobias was also pursuing his PhD at the Section of Science of Complex Systems at the Medical University of Vienna.
