Ljubica Nedelkoska has been a research scientist at the Complexity Science Hub since June 2021. Previously, she was a postdoctoral fellow at Zeppelin University and the University of Jena in Germany, after PhD studies in economics of innovation in a joined program by the Max Planck Institute of Economics and the University of Jena, in 2010.

Ljubica’s research focus is on human mobility, diasporas, and skill-technology relations. She also works on economic policy projects and has led or contributed to policy projects in Albania, Colombia, Germany, the Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Sweden, among others.

She is also a senior research fellow at the Growth Lab at Harvard University which she joined in 2013. At the Growth Lab, she has led basic and applied research projects on the past and future of work, migration, and diasporas. She also consults for international organizations, such as the OECD and the International Labour Organization.
