Giordano De Marzo received his master’s degree in Theoretical Physics at Sapienza University of Rome. He is now a PhD candidate at the Department of Physics of Sapienza University, Enrico Fermi Research Center and Sapienza School for Advanced Studies. He is also a research fellow at Imminent research centre and external consultant of companies and agencies such as Translated and UN ILO.

His research interests cover different topics of Complex Systems, such as social dynamics, economic complexity, neural networks, scaling laws and networks theory. His main focus is now on the effects of recommendation algorithms on opinion dynamics and social fragmentation.
