Exploring global food supply chains

Students independently explore an interactive world map and discover how countries are interconnected in terms of food production (e.g., maize, rice, soy). They explore supply chains and learn about the consequences of global networks in an engaging manner. For instance, they consider what would happen if Austria were no longer able to produce apples.

An explanatory video (in English) accompanies them throughout the process. Following that, they have the opportunity to test and create their own scenarios.
