Seyda Köse has been a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub since March 2024. Her research is focused on supply chain networks, developing new approaches based on modern natural language processing.

After completing her bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Middle East Technical University in Turkey, she pursued her master’s degree at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, where her thesis was on combinatorial geometry. In particular, she studied the connection between exterior algebra and extremal combinatorics. During her studies, she worked on interdisciplinary projects at the intersection between mathematics, computer science, and data science.

Seyda’s research interests lie in the applications of mathematical principles to the analysis of complex networks.
