Peter Sloot is Full Professor of Complex Adaptive Systems at the University of Amsterdam and Founding Scientific Director of the Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) Amsterdam.

He is a laureate of the Russian Leading Scientist president’s program and has been the PI of many international research programs on complex systems, like www.virolab.org and www.dynanets.org. He also leads the technology program in Health Systems Complexity of the Nanyang Institute of Technology in Health and Medicine.

Peter has published over 450 research papers. His work is covered in international media such as newspapers, interviews and documentaries. He is editor in chief of two highly ranked Elsevier science journals.
