Miroslav Mirchev, researcher ate the Complexity Science Hub

Miroslav Mirchev is a postdoctoral researcher at the Complexity Science Hub, studying the detection and modeling of digital disinformation spreading in online social networks. His main areas of interest include network science and machine learning in graphs.

Miroslav completed his PhD studies at the Polytechnic University in Turin, Italy, in 2014, focusing on cooperative processes in complex networks with imperfections.

Prior to that, he pursued his MSc and BSc studies in Informatics and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia.

He was a visiting researcher at the BioCircuits Institute, the University of California San Diego, the Department of Intelligent Systems, Jozef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, and the Department of Electronics, City University of Hong Kong. Since 2014, he has been a professor at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje.
