Melody Sepahpour-Fard

Melody Sepahpour-Fard is a PhD student at the SFI Centre for Research Training in Foundations of Data Science. She is broadly interested in Computational Social Science, Fairness in AI, and Natural Language Processing. For her doctoral thesis, she analyses opinion-based networks on social media using word embeddings to create a measure of social polarisation.
She holds two B.Sc. in Psychology and Language Sciences from the University of Paris, and an M.Sc. in Social and Cultural Psychology from a European joint programme named Global-MINDS.
