Mauritz has been a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub since April 2023.
He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in applied mathematics from the University of Trento, Italy. For his master’s thesis, he worked in collaboration with the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics to develop two models for online prediction of multivariate electricity loads.
Mauritz’s current research interests are in the application of mathematics to the analysis of network data, with a particular interest in the analysis of complex systems in the field of computational social sciences.
