Gavrila Amadea Puspitarani has been a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub since January 2022. She received her master’s degree in infectious diseases and one health from Erasmus Mundus joint master degree, which includes Université de Tours (France), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), and University of Edinburgh (UK).

Gavrila worked with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations for the live bird markets surveillance project.

Her research interests include animals and zoonotic diseases, veterinary epidemiology, modeling infectious diseases, the one health approach, and disease mitigation.

Gavrila is also pursuing his PhD at the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna.
