Amin Anjomshoaa was a senior researcher at the Complexity Science Hub. In 2019, he was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship and conducted his research at the University of Galway and Maynooth University.

In 2014, he received the Erwin Schrödinger fellowship and worked as visiting researcher and project lead at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Before that, he served as an assistant professor and director of the Linked Data Lab at TU Wien.

He received his PhD in computer science from TU Wien in 2009, a dual master’s degree in “Software Engineering & Internet Computing” and “Information Management” from TU Wien in 2005 and 2007, respectively, and a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Kerman, Iran.

Amin is also a senior researcher at the Institute for Data, Process, and Knowledge Management of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). His research interests include semantic web, knowledge graphs, data analytics, smart city, internet of things, and machine learning.
