Abhijit Chakraborty was a PostDoc researcher at the Complexity Science Hub until December 2021. His doctoral thesis at the department of theoretical physics, Satyendra Nath Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences in Kolkata (India), was on the statistical mechanics of complex networks.

During his postdoctoral career at the University of Hyogo in Kobe, Japan, and at the institute of mathematical sciences in Chennai, India, Abhijit’s main focus was on the study of large-scale economic data using the framework of complex network theory.

Abhijit’s research interests are complex networks, large-scale economic networks and statistical physics.
