Timo has been a PhD candidate in the Complexity Science Hub’s Digital Innovation School since October 2024.
His research interests center around networked structures in social movements. Timo is fascinated by the organic emergence and development of collaborative social movements under changing conditions. He is especially interested in integrated mixed-methods approaches to harness the complexity and beauty of the dynamics in social movements.

Prior to joining CSH Timo completed a Master’s Degree in Organisational Science and Public Administration with an additional track in Complex Systems. In the past has also worked with social movements, NGOs and governmental institutions in multiple European countries to understand and help improve their ways of solving society’s most pressing issues.
