Yifei has been a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Complexity Science Hub since July 2026.

As a member of the Transforming Economies team, she studies how technological advancements, including artificial intelligence, affect labor markets and regional economies.

Before joining CSH, Yifei completed her PhD in Economic Geography at the University of Gothenburg. In her doctoral thesis, she used Swedish administrative register data to examine how firm investments in R&D and machinery influence regional labor market dynamics.
