Vittorio Bargero has been a visiting student at the Complexity Science Hub since February 2026.
He is pursuing a Master’s degree in Physics of Complex Systems at the Università degli Studi di Torino. His research interests focus on the theoretical and computational methods used in complexity economics to model economic systems. In particular, he is currently working on improving the theoretical foundations of the Economic Fitness Complexity (EFC) and Economic Complexity Index (ECI) using tools from network theory.
Previously, during his Bachelor’s thesis, he worked on the validation of large solar radiation datasets aimed at improving regional agricultural models
