Susann currently holds a position at the Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien, where she specializes in decision science and just started her new research group on the cognitive processes of human decision-making in organizations. Her academic journey began at the University of Erfurt, where she earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Psychology. She later pursued her Ph.D. at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods, where she later became the Head of the Gielen-Leyendecker Research Group in 2014. Safra Center for Ethics at the University of Harvard, and the University of Hagen. She is also committed to service within her field, taking on roles like Member at Large of the EADM, Ombudsperson of the German Psychological Society, and Associate Editor of different journals like Science Advanced over the years.
