Shkelqim Berisha

Shkelqim Berisha has been a Research Assistant at the Complexity Science Hub in Vienna since March 2025. He applies his expertise in quantitative policy analysis to explore complex socio-economic issues, contributing to data-driven insights for policy development.

At CSH, he focuses on socio-economic dynamics, with a particular interest in education and economic development. His work involves identifying and gathering relevant data for various analyses, analyzing and visualizing data, and preparing presentations. Through these efforts, Shkelqim aims to provide actionable insights that can inform equitable and effective policy solutions.

Shkelqim holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Pristina and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Quantitative Policy Analysis at Central European University (CEU) in Vienna. His academic and professional journey includes significant contributions to education and policy research, such as coordinating research initiatives at EduTask in Kosovo, where he facilitated collaboration between businesses and universities to bridge sectoral skills gaps.

In addition to his research experience, Shkelqim has a strong background in project management and policy analysis, having worked with organizations like the World Bank. His long-term thesis project examined the impact of school-related variables on learning gradients and parental investment.
