Riccardo Lucarno is a visiting PhD student from the University of Trento (Italy), where he is pursuing an interdisciplinary doctoral degree in economics and social sciences.
His research interests focus on regional economics and urban sustainability from both social and environmental perspectives.
At CSH, he is currently working on a project investigating spatial networks among cities, analyzing how transportation networks, economic linkages, and demographic trends shape regional development.
He earned a master’s degree in economics from the Università degli Studi di Milano and is currently a researcher at EURAC Research in Bozen, South Tyrol.
