Miguel has been a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub since September 2025.
His research interests center on the computational and data-driven analysis of social systems, with a particular focus on the co-evolution between humans and AI.
Miguel earned a BSc in Physics in Mexico (UNAM) and an MSc in Data Science at Sapienza University of Rome. For his master’s thesis, he collaborated with the CENTAI Institute to study the demographic pathways through which users are drawn into alt-right and conspiracy forums on social media.
He is also pursuing his PhD at the Department of Network and Data Science at Central European University (CEU).
