Leonie Wenz is Professor of Environmental Economics at the Technical University Berlin and Deputy Head of the Complexity Science department at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). Her research focuses on the societal and economic impacts of climate change. Using quantitative empirical methods, she and her team seek to assess the cost of warming and to inform sustainable development pathways. Her research has been published in Nature, Science, PNAS, The Lancet Planetary Health, and JEEM, among others.
