Laura Fürsich is a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago, where she holds appointments with the Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation, the Urban Science Lab, and the Department of Sociology. Her interdisciplinary research bridges sociology, urban science, social networks, and inequality studies. She examines how social processes operate within spatial environments to understand the interplay between individual choices, community structures, and broader socioeconomic forces that shape our cities and neighborhoods. Laura Fürsich holds a PhD in Analytical Sociology from Linköping University, Sweden.
