Alexandra has been a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub since July 2025.
As part of the “Transforming Economies” team, she is pursuing her longstanding research interests in migration studies and labor market economics, with a focus on workplace segregation along ethnic lines.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Higher School of Economics (Moscow) and an MSc in Social Data Science from Central European University (Vienna). In her master’s thesis, Alexandra investigated the developmental impacts of emigration on sending countries under the supervision of Martin Kahanec.
