Juan has been a PhD student at the Complexity Science Hub since March 2025.

Given his broad interest in various fields of study, he has been looking for ways to apply the tools provided by physics and mathematics to address social, linguistic or economic problems since he started his bachelor’s degree in physics at the Universidad de Antioquia. At the Hub he is dedicated to the study of network theory from the perspective of statistical physics and its potential applications to supply chains and economic transformation. Before joining, he pursued a Master degree in Quantum Information at Sorbonne University.
