Jovana Kovačević is an associate professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade. She obtained her doctoral degree in 2015 at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, at the Department of Computer Science and Informatics. Her research and teaching interests relate to bioinformatics and in addition to the Faculty of Mathematics, she teaches courses at the Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Chemistry, and the Master program Industry 4.0 in cooperation with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. She is currently involved in Cost action CA21160 “Non-globular proteins in the era of Machine Learning” as leader of the working group “Assessment of state-of-the-art ML predictors and methods in the NGP field.”
