He earned a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Behavioural and Data Science from the University of Warwick, UK. During his MSc, Professor Hills acknowledged his contributions in the upcoming textbook Behavioural Network Science: Mind, Language, Society. After completing his MSc, Joshua worked as a Research Data Analyst, producing network psychopathology models under Professor Tang.
