Jasper Verschuur is an Assistant Professor of Engineering Systems and Climate Security at the Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management, Delft University of Technology and an Honorary Research Associate at the Environmental Change Institute, University of Oxford. His research focuses on the quantifying the systemic risks that climate change poses to infrastructure systems and the essential services they provide to society, ranging from local-scale (e.g., household essential services) to global-scale (e.g., food and energy supplies) analyses. I develop new modelling tools to better understand and anticipate these risks, and identify solutions to enhance resilience and reduce inequalities.
