Giorgia Sampò is a PhD student at the Digital Democracy Center (DDC), working with the Strategic Organization Design group and the Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Programming Languages section at SDU. She has a master’s degree in Digital Humanities from the University of Bologna and previously worked as a researcher and external consultant regarding natural language processing and vectorial semantic applications for the study of ancient literature. Her research focuses on modeling interactions and participation in Impact DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations), and the effects they have on organizational performance and centralization tendencies. Giorgia’s academic interests involve social network analysis, NLP, and blockchain-based technologies applications for public good.
