Florian Ulrich Jehn studies how we might feed everyone during global disasters as a Data Science Lead at the Alliance to Feed the Earth in Disasters. His research maps out what happens to food systems during crises and brings together findings from across the field of global catastrophic risk. Florian also writes a “living literature review” on societal collapse that gets updated whenever new research comes out. His work connects academic research with science communication to help create policy changes to increase resilience against major catastrophes.
