Opportunity in Crisis: Leveraging Ukrainian Talent for a Shared Economic Future
The Russian war on Ukraine that started in February 2022 disrupted Ukraine’s economy and its global value chains and unleashed a refugee crisis of historic proportions. More than three years into the war, Ukraine has been reshaped, and well over 5 million Ukrainians remain internationally displaced. The workshop will include presentations and discussions about what this mass displacement means for the rewiring of Ukraine’s global value chains, the integration of its people outside Ukraine, and the prospects of returning to Ukraine. We will hear from academics and civil society organizations alike.
