Ekaterina (Kath) Landgren is a Dean’s Postdoctoral Fellow at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. She was previously a Postdoctoral Visiting Fellow at the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. Before joining CIRES, she received a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University. She uses mathematical modeling, network science, and data science to study complex social systems. Her current research examines how social networks, media, and institutions shape beliefs and perceptions about climate change. She is passionate about complex systems, open science, and interdisciplinary research.
