Eduard Storm has been the Head of the junior research group Skill Demand during Structural Change at IHS since January 2025. He earned a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2020. Before joining IHS, Eduard was an Assistant Visiting Professor at Carleton College, Minnesota, US, and a postdoctoral researcher at the RWI – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research, Essen, Germany. His primary research interests focus on labor economics, especially the impact of global megatrends—such as digitalization, decarbonization, and demographic change—on employment, wages, and skill demand.
