Carlo Menon

Dr. Carlo Menon is the Manager of the OECD Spatial Productivity Lab (SPL) at the OECD Trento Centre for Local Development, Italy. He has more than 15 years of experience leveraging granular and innovative data sources to strengthen the evidence base in regional and urban economics, business dynamics and productivity, innovation, and policy evaluation. Carlo joined the OECD in 2011 and has also held positions at the Bank of Italy in Rome and at Laterite, a fast-growing research and data analytics firm based in Kigali, Rwanda. His research has been published in leading academic journals, and he has co‑authored more than 30 policy reports and working papers. He holds a PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science (2009), as well as an M.Res. (2005) and a B.Sc. (2003) in Economics from the University of Venice, Italy.
