Arnaud Sors completed his PhD in EEG signal analysis using machine learning, then spent five years as an AI researcher at Naver Labs Europe, working on machine comprehension, search engines, reinforcement learning, and combinatorial optimization. As he became increasingly aware of environmental issues, he recently shifted his focus to environmental accounting and took time off to explore how to calculate fine-grained, multi-asset product and revenue footprints for each transaction – both in theory and in practice. This is ongoing work, with some early results and ideas summarized at https://micro-ioa.org. He is currently working on moving this initiative forward.
