Anastassia Vybornova is a visiting postdoctoral researcher at CSH. Her main research interest is the actionable mitigation of spatial inequalities. Anastassia is affiliated with the Copenhagen Center for Social Data Science (SODAS) at the University of Copenhagen and with the NEtwoRks, Data & Society (NERDS) group at the IT University of Copenhagen. Anastassia is also active as Chair of the Young Academy Panel of the Danish Data Science Academy. She holds a PhD in Urban Data Science and has a background in Technical Physics, Transcultural Communication, and Environmental Science. Anastassia’s current research is dedicated to algorithmic bias in urban planning, the intersection of social and spatial networks, and the development of tools for geospatial data science.
