Alina has been a PhD candidate at the Complexity Science Hub since January 2025.

She received her Magistra degree in Physics and Arts Education from (University of Vienna and Academy of Fine Arts Vienna) as well as a Higher Certificate in Game and Interactive Media Development (Academy of Digital Arts, Cape Town).

She has four years of work experience as a full-stack software engineer and has earned several stipends for interdisciplinary art projects that integrate real-world data, including works utilizing climate change data to raise awareness through interactive experiences.

Alina’s research at CSH focuses on supply chain networks.
