Alessandro Pesce started his PhD at the Complexity Science Hub under the supervision of Peter Klimek in February 2025.

Alessandro’s research interests include epidemiological models, data analysis, networks, and complex systems. Within the Healthcare & Medicine research group, he explores epidemiological models informed by large-scale observational health data.

His academic journey includes a Master’s in Mathematics from the Technical University of Munich and a Bachelor’s from the University of Rome La Sapienza, with expertise spanning mathematical modeling, probability theory, and dynamical systems. He also has professional experience in quantitative finance and consulting.

Alessandro is also pursuing her PhD at the Section for Science of Complex Systems at the Medical University of Vienna.
